Pat Kelly started at Rochester Materials Company (ROMAC) in May of 1970. I have been involved in the concrete and masonry business with sales, production, and distribution over the past 38 years. During this time I have enjoyed working in the states of Minnesota, South Dakota, and Ohio. I have returned to Minnesota and enjoying working for North Star Stone and Masonry.

Denver O'Brien joined Cemstone in 1999 as a concrete and block sales representative. Prior to Cemstone purchasing his family's business in 1999 O'Brien owned Arlington Concrete Products with his father and brother for 18 years. Joe Oster became an employee of North Star Stone & Masonry in March of 2008. Joe has been in the concrete and masonry industry for nearly twelve years. He broke into the industry as a Ready Mix Dispatcher and has had numerous other positions including both block and ready mix sales. Joe Donadio joined the Rochester Brick/North Star Stone and Masonry team in 2000. Prior to this, Joe was a self-employed landscape contractor in the Rochester area with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Joe oversees the sale of manufactured and real thin stone, 4" veneer stone, brick, and landscaping products for residential applications and also handles the marketing of landscape products on commercial applications.

Greg Weedman joined North Star Stone & Masonry in 2004 as a sales representative, specializing in landscaping. He is responsible for commercial sales and also works on residential projects in the landscape division. Weedman was previously a part of the Residential Sales Group at Mankato Brick/Rochester Brick and has been active in the commercial and residential industries since 2004. Jordan Steier has been with North Star / Rochester Brick since 1996. Jordan began as a yardman and forklift operator and has been the Yard Manager at the Marion Road location for the past 2 years. Jordan has recently been moved into the position of Dispatcher and Sales at the main office in Rochester where he will be responsible for getting product dispatched for delivery and helping with inside sales.

Gene Schmidt has been a key player in the masonry industry in Rochester having spent time at both ROMAC and Rochester Brick in commercial block and brick sales before taking a position with an out-state block producer. Schmidt has an extensive history with the masonry industry including specialized brick training through a variety of brick producers. Schmidt was welcomed back to our Rochester location June 15, 2009 as location manager.

Susan Kinyon joined North Star Stone & Masonry in 2008 to help out with marketing and sales in the Red Wing, Hastings, Northfield, and Rochester areas. Susan grew up in the industry and has more than 10 years experience working with her father at Kinyon Concrete Products, Inc. in Red Wing, MN. There she was involved in all aspects of the business, including sales, administration, dispatching, and loading & unloading trucks. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 2002 with a B.A. degree in Mass Communication and Theatre.
